Designing for the future
Designing for the future required us to address key challenges like refrigeration, store layout, and plastic waste. We explored ways to make refrigeration more energy-efficient, reduce plastic usage through alternative materials, and reimagine the store layout to enhance sustainability and customer experience. This holistic approach allowed us to create a layout that optimized energy use, minimized waste, and improved functionality. Iterative prototyping and feedback from Coles representatives ensured our solutions were practical and forward-thinking, aligning with the demands of tomorrow’s supermarkets.
